Dua for America
Ink on watercolor paper, 18” x 24” (2020)

Dua for America is a visual representation of a supplication to Allah, to self and to community. It is a plea for guidance and a reminder that love, power and radiance exist in all of us. The repetition of the word “ameen” is an affirmation, a representation of the collective conscious saying, “Yes, yes, yes to all that is powerful and good.”
